Fifteen-year-old Jay and his family sought asylum in the United Kingdom, leaving behind their farm in Zimbabwe.
He faced a bustling new world in London, distinct from the carefree countryside he knew. Despite the challenges, his parents instilled in him a passion for education. An avid reader, Jay found comfort and inspiration in the local library, exploring the magic of books.

In 2021 and again in 2023, Jay, through his foundation LeNoir Foundation, brought to life two vibrant community libraries in Uganda! These spaces are now bustling hubs where children can learn, connect, and dive into digital skills. The initiative also offers exciting training programs for local teachers, empowering them to deliver modern education in underserved areas.
His inspiring work is changing lives in Uganda and Zimbabwe, sparking creativity, opportunity, and hope a brighter and more equitable future!
